From Poland, with love

And because some of us like diversity I decided to be adventurous since I was a student…

My adventure starts in 2005 with lots of hopes and hours spent waiting at UK embassy….ehh; without even knowing at that moment in time how this is going to change the story of my life…

How did I get to Poland? The story is short, love or destiny, or is the UK embassy guilty for this? We will never know…

I met him as a friend at thousands of km away from home, both mine and his. Open and polite, honest, gifted, reserved, ambitious and very organized, all superlatives. You have probably already guessed, my husband is Polish.

The diversity continues…

We currently live in Poland together with our polyglot daughter Eliza in a small city at the border with Czech Republic, in a house built by us. As a country, Poland is very beautiful, endless forests, tall catholic inspired churches everywhere, overwhelming history, wonderful feasts.

Poland is my second home country. is the country that helped me start the change, supported me by offering me one to one training in Polish to facilitate the integration process. Is the country that trusted me, a foreigner, and gave me European founds to open my business…

Poland is the country where I made time for my long forgotten hobbies, hobbies thrown away in a dusted memory. I had forgotten about what I liked the most, painting, and replaced it with the work for a qualification…I had to choose a different path, something that made me more employable.

And because now i grew up and i still enjoy diversity I chose, on top of the daily assignments, being a mom and a wife, to take art classes during the weekend at the University of Architecture from Gliwice starting with October 2017.

Please be my critics, I attached few of my paintings, some of them being gifts for family and friends.

Before I say goodbye, I have to say that I love Romania with all my heart, our Romanian language, the Romanian warmth, the Black sea, our good food!!

Don’t forget to be Romanian no matter where life takes you on this Earth!

Never know…

Concluzia ati tras-o deja, foarte adevarat ,sotul meu este polonez.

Diversitatea continua…
