Cherry blossom Festival , Tokyo

Tokyo: March-April. There is no surprise that what is happening during this period in one of the most crowded cities in the world is a real phenomenon. With more than 13 million inhabitants and many tourists, Tokyo has enough room for everyone, even in places where Google Maps announces a “Cherry blossom spot” and there you meet a swarm of excited people with phones or cameras willing to surprise the beauty of the blooming trees. Whether it is park or simply a street behind high blocks, this marvel has the same effect on any pedestrian.

For a moment you remember your grandmothers’ gardening trees and trees in the countryside, and there, 9,000 km away from home, you feel like a child again and enjoy the petals of the flowers that break into a breeze and get tangled through your hair.

Tokyo: martie-aprilie.
