Akihabara – where you become an anime character

Some sort of Japanese Time Square, Akihabara is probably Japan’s most animated tourist spot. Literally. Anime characters come to life on crowded streets dressed in playful outfits, inviting you to manga cafes or an electronic shop where you can find all the latest toy toys or even old games that you did not think they were producing anywhere, robots or other amazing electric and home appliances.

Also in the area there are tall colorful buildings arranged as multi-story gaming halls.

On weekends, the main street is closed to road traffic, leaving thousands of tourists to enjoy the buildings studded with lively animated light boxes and attractive colorful banners.

It’s the place where you can find … anything, and vices and fetishes find their relief at every corner.
