Atena prin ochii unui calator

O metropola, temple la tot pasul in jurul carora orbiteaza o natiune, plina de legende si zei ce dainuie de mii de ani. De cand aterizezi de imbie un alt aer, caci Athina se intinde de la Egee prin poarta Piraeus, oras distinct ce a devenit  parte din metropola azi, si pana in Rafina situat la nord pe dealuri inalte. Fii calator, dupa ce ai  bifat obiectivele clasice, Acropole, Syntagma cu Parlamentul, Stadionul Olimpic de marmura, Plaka, Piraeus, minunatiile de muzee, nu rata Benaki,  Acropole Museum si cel de Arta Contemporana  (NATIONAL MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART, ATHENS), descopera adevaratul puls al orasului. Pornind de la Monastiraki piateta de pe Ermou, celebra pietonala comerciala, rataceste-te spre Piata centrala o adevarata „expozitie”, stradutele adiacente Athinas te  vor conduce dincolo de fatade, in lumea de zi cu zi, cu  zeci de baruri si cafenele, printre alte zeci de magazine, unde poti sade boem si achizitiona tot ce nu te-ai fii gandit, la preturi corecte. The Greek Odyssey

Can you imagine living in your dream place? Our adventure begins, when we decided to give up on our rented apartment and our jobs, so we can move for 3 months, in Greece. We managed to clean the 1-bedroom apartment, where we lived and to be on our way to Corfu, with a packed car, including a TV, frying pan, pots and not to forget, Yoji, our bonsai tree. After an exhausting 18h drive, we managed to arrive, late in the night, at 11 pm, to our destination, Acharavi. The guest house where we stayed, had a very beautiful rose garden and it was located on the beach, from where you could enjoy the sunsets. Acharavi had everything you wanted, from a bakery, fish store, market, restaurants, bars, etc. We started most of the days, with a small walk, down to the village centre, passing by the stores for fresh fish or sea food, for warm bread and for everything that was needed to cook our lunch. After getting back, we used to serve breakfast on the terrace …
